I had a vision recently of a field of growing crops. Wheat, corn, pumpkins, just vegetables as far as the eye could see. And a sun beam concentrated on one plant, and that plant began to burn up. “You think you are here to show people the truth,” a voice said, “But most people already know the truth. They are hiding from it because they feel they must. You shining a light directly on it doesn’t illuminate… it burns them up. This is why people feel protective around you.” The picture reset, with a sun shining warmly on all of the crops. “All you have to do is shine and everything grows around you, your light is that powerful. So just… shine.” ☀️

I’m crying, this is EXACTLY what I’ve been talking about as the lesson I’m mastering right now. I am compassionately cutting ties with two incredibly important people in my life because I can’t love them into seeing themselves better. 😭🖤

“You don’t have to love every part of yourself, you just have to stop exiling them.” I wish this quote would replace the whole, “You need to love yourself first” nonsense. It’s unrealistic and inaccessible for most people when you’re starting from a place of shame and self-hatred.

Just today I had to look at my fear and anxiety around polarity. I always thought dark or negative thoughts were external forces and a threat to me and today I faced the reality that no human is without negative or shadow thoughts and to stop treating them like enemies. They’re data and I get to choose which thoughts to focus on what needs healing

Absolutely. I also think it’s worth recognizing that many people may not be meant to face their shadow in their current lifetime or existence as well.

Deciding to see myself as clearly as I see other people was such a huge catalyst.

It’s sooooo frustrating. You want to help people, but they refuse to see it. Now I give space to exercise grace instead of trying to help people see what’s happening. Kinda feels like I’m abandoning them though. How do you go about dealing with people close to you in that head space?

This is exactly the same conclusion Richard C Schwartz came to in his “Family Systems” approach. Family in this case means the group of small parts within them that need to be addressed, cared for and allowed to speak. Any interview clip with him he’ll walk through the visualization journey & it’s marvelous. His book No Bad Parts also explains it. So glad I found your page; thank-you. 🙏🏼 🌞

This is very similar to Hegel's Dialectic in Phenomenonlogy of the Spirit and Kant's Categories: for the synthesis of information which elevates consciousness, the thesis must integrate the Anti-Thesis.

I've personally found that reflection and grace in the evenings paired with an appreciation of new beginnings and the possibility of growth each morning helps.
