I keep thinking that Sarah is actually a really bad writer, then I remember ToG and I can't get my head round it. So I have to believe that Feyre is just a terrible narrator and the worst gaslighter. Not sure which is worse.

Feyre “assumes” this, as usual. Because she sees him do quite a lot of cool things as it is, but she really doesn’t know the full extent if his magic to confirm this.

I mean Feyre says Tamlin did nothing to try to save her when Amarantha killed her, while he actually was bleeding from being stabbed in the HEART, not healing normally while crawling towards them. Her memory is either changed by Rhys or just really really easily skewed

he talks about how tam could shape shift others, but from what I cant recall this. tam says many times his magic is diminished and cant do thing he once could.

The way I take these things is that Feyre misunderstood. Because there is no descriptive explanation of magic in this series. Or maybe it was off page? SJM is very much tell over show, and honestly that pisses me off
