But eventually, you stop trying to prove yourself to the people committed to misunderstanding, you stopped, begging to be believed, stop protecting people who were perfectly comfortable, hurting you, and you realize something… You may have been there target once, but you do not have to stay an easy one. You get to reclaim your voice and trust what you saw and become somebody that they can never fuck with like that ever again.
