I love that you are documenting the hard moments. After my dad’s brain surgery in 03 he had to relearn everything, he is doing exceptionally well now and has days where he gets frustrated with himself or feels down, I wish I could show him how far he’s come and all that he has already overcome. These moments will be so special to reflect back on one day with your dad to show him how amazing he has done and how amazing he continues to do! I got a traumatic brain injury when I was 19 and it affected my memory and my brain’s ability to communicate with the right side of my body. 20 years ago now. It’s people like you who will help without judgement, sticking to a plan and knowing that it’s okay to fail. That just makes the climb back up feel better. Blessings to all of you!
