My 3rd gen used to do that, I slapped some injectors in it and it has quit doing it. But the 6.7s are known for blowing head gaskets so I’d check that

cold engine cylinder temps r the lowest they could be, an injector that may be a little lazy and hanging a tad would cause it to haze. it's not fully combusting extra fuel that's already hard to combust with such low cylinder temps compared to a hot cylinder.
