my kiddo just had tooooo much eczema all over for creams to tackle so she's thriving on Dupixent but her allergist put her on Vtama for breakthrough! it seems to work pretty well!

Pimecrolimus is amazing!! It does burn around the eyes which is annoying but I’ll take that over a steroid anyday.

Can you get the dry flaky skin steroid withdrawal from these non-steroid options? I like protopic, and have been lucky it doesn't burn but I'm worried about long term use.

Could you possibly talk about prurigo nodularis? I have been absolutely debilitated with it for over a year, the only thing that has worked for me safely is Dupixent as cyclosporine gave me jaundice 😅

I had some mild to moderate eczema on my eyelids. It still flares up now and then, if I rub my eyes a lot, if I cry (tears can be very irritating), if I use certain makeup products ( hard to figure out what products exactly). It was very consistently present for over a year, this was few years ago, I made a good skincare routine and eventually the eczema settled down. But I get a scare here and then, when I see it red, inflamed, itchy and starting to get flaky. I have never had lash extensions done, due to the fear that this could cause an eczema flare up.
