I was told not to eat before getting induced in case of an emergency C section but I’m a type 1 diabetic and ate anyways bc my body can not go that long without food and after I gave birth they still didn’t allow me to have food and I was not allowed food outside the hospital

I didn’t eat for about 48hrs and didn’t care 😂 my nausea during pregnancy was horrible and I was excited to actually not be responsible for eating for once

Didnt stop my emergency Csection any, my nurse was encouraging me to get a few bites of food in before starting my induction, ordered me breakfast, then 30 minutes in had to rush in for a Csection

One time my coworker had to tell the provider the pt ate & had coffee & he had the nerve to ask, “well why did you guys feed her?” Like sir YOUR PT decided to do that before coming in. Also, we know better 😂

I know this is what the nurses felt like telling me I Was allowed to eat breakfast and before it got to my room they put in the cervical balloon so I was in too much pain to actually eat I’ll never forgive them 😂

I had my first c section 17 months ago and I was 37 weeks and stood up and my water randomly broke …..I had stood up from just eating dinner and they grilled me for it….i wa slike yes bc I knew my water was gonna break today . After I had just ate.
