Hunting is a sacred practice and the most ethical way of obtaining healthy meat. Every part of any animal I’ve hunted is used and honored, from feathers and fur to teeth and bone. Sure there are people who do it wastefully for “sport” which obviously wrong, but the amount of people who hunt that genuinely care for and respect the animals we hunt far outweighs those who do it for unethical reasons. 🖤

I could absolutely never. But I come from a family of hunters. They respect the land and the animals more than any environmentalist I’ve ever known. I understand the importance of hunting for both food and for the environment.

We put way more money and time into our hunting property than any other expense we have. We've planted over 80 trees, chestnut, apple, and pear. We grow spring, summer and fall food plots. If there was something we could grow that would survive snow we'd have a winter plot. We've planted over 300 red osier dogwood bushes. We honor our harvest and know exactly where our food comes from and process it ourselves. We care about where our did cones from. 🥰

I agree!!! I am against “sport / exotic” hunting but the people who hunt and eat what they hunt are elite! & know more about our protective laws & respect nature than most ppl

you can't describe it. Every animal I have harvested I thank it for feeding our family and there is nothing I can even think of as a writer to describe the feeling.

I couldn't do it, but I also see why people do it. I would be sobbing afterwards. 😭 I think hunting ethically is a beautiful thing honestly. I wish I had the guts.

People don’t understand that us people that hunt it isn’t “killing for fun” it’s to put food on the table for our family’s and we respect that animal more than we respect most people in today’s society. We love the hunt but also love the animal and respect what it brings to our table.

The only thing I don't like about hunting is trophy hunting. I am happy people still hunt. I think it's very important that people know how and still do it as long as they do it legally and use as much of the animal as possible. Good for you! I personally don't think I could do it but I might have to with these grocery prices😂

My husband shot an elk last year and OMG it’s the best meat, it’s literally lasted us a full year and also I can’t eat ground beef now he’s ruined me 😩
