i’ve shared a room with my male cousins multiple times, never once ended up dead or harmed in anyway. we need to raise our boys to do no harm, especially to your own family. this feels like learned behavior.

I just don’t understand how a parent wouldn’t have checked on her if she left dinner for not feeling well. My daughter is 17 and I know for a fact that I would have went to check on her multiple times that evening. Heck I do it here at home, I’m constantly checking on her if the bedroom is closed, even if she’s not sick.

My guess (just a theory, not saying this is what’s happening) is that they’ve had issues w the step brother’s behavior before (things like this don’t just suddenly happen, they escalate to get to this point) and are trying to save face for putting Anna in a situation they already knew was unsafe along with trying to protect the pos step brother
