A 45-year-old male patient is already lying supine on the MRI table (Siemens Magnetomiu Vida 3T), wearing a hospital gown, head inside the head coil, eyes closed, completely still, and the test has not yet started. The radiologist, a middle-aged male doctor in a white coat, glasses, ID badge clipped to his pocket, is standing right beside the patient’s torso on the left side of the bore, leaning slightly forward to adjust the coil or check positioning. Suddenly, without any alarm or quench vent, an inexplicable, perfectly smooth, and unbelievably strong magnetic pull activates. First, the doctor’s metal pen flies out of his coat pocket and silently sticks to the inner wall of the gantry with a faint clink. A second later, his stethoscope whips off his neck and vanishes inside the bore.
