The commenters don’t realize that people tend to keep their pregnancies quiet until at least a few weeks in just in case of a miscarriage as well… who knows what could’ve happened after telling everyone a day after she found out

the reason women don't immediately announce their pregnancy to friends and family as soon as they find out is because of the risk of miscarriage. losing your baby is already traumatic enough, imagine having to go back and tell everyone that you're no longer pregnant because your husband refused to respect your wishes and wait the recommended amount of weeks before telling people
