As a young goth in the 90s we use to sneak into the grotto at night. We never were there to do anything other than chill and be spooky. I gotta come during the day sometime so I can appreciate the beauty better.

always buy a candle at the gift shop before you make your way to the grotto. 🕯🙏🕊 or just visit for the peace and serenity. 😌

This was my grandma’s favorite spot! Every single time she would visit the US and came to Oregon, she needed to go there. Heck all the town’s people back home in 🇻🇪 knew about this place. Now I visit to remember her. Miss you grandma!
