Wow! I hope my boy thinks like this when he is older. I hear nothing from him now when he is with his mum unless i make contact (he is 12) but if my boy feels this way when he is older I will be so happy!

My parents accused me of hating my mom just because I didn’t call my mom when I was a kid and my mom often just complained to my dad but when I’m grown up suddenly she calls me everyday … my whole family said «u hate ur mom?» and that’s really bad to trauma guilt a child. Yet they didn’t care. They just wanna guilt trip me . So I ended up not likning to talk to my mom because of all the guilt tripping they said.

Smart way of thinking young man . Unfortunately not all dads step up and play a postive roll . I pushed my boys to be involved with there dad . Now there almost 18 and 20 and I have to let them now choose .. and the more they see the less they reach out which is sad ! But I can’t force him (there dad ) to realise how lucky he is 😳
