@on_todays_bake: Big Mac smash tacos Ingredients For the beef 400g ground beef (about 1 lb) Salt & black pepper (to taste) All purpose seasoning Paprika For the tortillas 4 small flour tortillas Caramelised onions 1 large onion, thinly sliced 1 tbsp butter or oil Pinch of salt 1 tsp sugar Big-Mac–style sauce 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1 tbsp yellow mustard 1 tbsp ketchup Caramelised onions 1/2 tsp white vinegar 1 tsp Sugar Pinch of salt & black pepper Cheese & toppings slices American cheese Shredded iceberg lettuce ⭐ Instructions 1. Caramelise the onions Add butter/oil to a pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions + pinch of salt and sugar Cook until golden, soft, and sweet. Remove and set aside. 2. Smash the burgers onto tortillas Take a handful of ground beef and press it onto one side of each tortilla. Make a thin, even layer. Season with salt & pepper. Heat a pan on medium-high. Place tortilla beef-side down and smash firmly. Cook 2–3 minutes until browned and crispy. Flip the tortilla and place a slice of cheese on top of the cooked beef. Let the underside toast lightly. 3.
