if it had been a policeman who shot him there would be no issue since they are taught to keep shooting. why should a homeowner be any different?

The judge got it right. Shooting someone to stop them from attacking you is one thing. Shooting someone and then walking up on them and shooting them 12 more times deliberately is murder.

I somewhat agree with the ruling I only say that because you must be realistic when a person is in a situation like that because technically speaking it only takes two shots to kill and intruder especially when that intruder is causing injury terror and other emotions that I can't articulate at that point in time so seeing the person was having an episode tells me that this has happened once before so the real question is the Parents responsible.
