wirtz is pure class the main problem is that the entire Liverpool team is dysfunctional their midfield isnt good cause you dont have a good Balance of players, both fullbacks arent good, van dijk made a step back and they're missing players to stretch the field vertical and horizontal. salah, ektike, gakpo, Isak and wirtz all are best in central and half spaces. none of them has his strength on playing on the sideline. so naturaly the teams sit back against and Liverpool and stack players in and around their own Box.

When you pay that amount for a player, ‘adapting’ is not something that you can give them. Wirtz’s performances most time have not lived up to even his known ability. Also, Liverpool imo is not the best environment right now. Players individually and collectively overall are very poor. The excuses for Wirtz also about space and time on the ball etc are nonsense. Ekitike made the same move from Bundesliga and while he has not scored much recently he still shows his qualities. Wirtz has not done much of that in a Liverpool shirt
