INGREDIENTS: Ladyfingers: - Ladyfingers as needed Hojicha Soaking Liquid: - 2 Tbsp granulated sugar - 2 Tbsp hojicha powder - 1 cup hot water Mascarpone Cream Filling: - 225 g mascarpone cheese, softened - 1∕3 cup confectioners (powdered) sugar - 1½ cups Nestle All Purpose Cream, chilled - 1∕2 tsp pure vanilla extract Topping (optional): - Freeze dried strawberries - Hojicha powder, for dusting INSTRUCTIONS: - Whisk your hojicha in hot water, before dissolving sugar and adding more hot water. - Make the cream filling, by adding mascarpone in a separate bowl w powdered sugar/vanilla. In a separate bowl from the mascarpone, add 2 packs of Nestle All Purpose Cream, whisk until stiff peaks begin to form. Add this into your mascarpone and fold into the mixture. - Dunk your ladyfingers into the hojicha mixture and place them one-by-one into your baking dish until it forms the bottom layer. Add cream in-between layers, before adding another level of hojicha dipped ladyfingers. - Top with more cream and dust with Hojicha powder.
