dude your doing it wrong he needs to be a little wet when he gets out the bath before you apply the cream honestly before you apply any cream so there won't be any build up of just get a clean warm rag wet it and rub him down with it pat him dry then apply the cream please

try to find some organic coconut oil and rub it all over his body before you bathe him! DO not use any kind of soap! Give him lukewarm baths and after, rub coconut oil again. At night make sure room temp is 70 and above. Trust the process and consistency is key! Coconut oil has antibacterial properties and it also heals scars! Make sure it’s organic!
