CNAs are their biggest visitors, even though they care for them, MOST show up on days off to surprise them, bring their families, and just be there for them! We become their family when no one else will, when their real family chooses to leave them in a home and no longer visits them..

Go ask if anyone seniors want their NAILS PAINTED!!! They LOVEEEE IT, especially all the old ladies! If you get a group of friends together and go to like a senior center or nursing home and spend a few hours doing a glam/nail day, they will love it ♥️♥️

In middle school my choir class walked to a nursing home and we sang for them n hung out with them for a bit they looked so happy 😭

Part of why I miss working at a retirement home, not the same as a nursing home but many of the people I worked with were lonely and I think I helped a bit. They treated me like I was their granddaughter

I miss being around The Geriatric…. It’s so hard to not think of my grandma. I spent my entire teenage years at her nursing home with her friends, I met so many faces and heard so many stories. I get choked up seeing them like that. They were once babies to.

Oh my goodness not me sobbing i work as a caregiver all kinds of elderly clients i take care of i paint them pictures and they love it and i bring my son into the nursing home as often as possible because they just adore seeing him this is truly a beautiful project and i would LOVE to learn more 🥰
