When my family painted over the height chart I actually cried😭😭😭

They cut down the cherry tree that my mother and I loved. My mum and dad planted it there when I was born. My mum used to make jam from it, and I used to chew on its pits. I used to use its branches to climb over the neighbour's garden (who were like my grandparents). We rented out the house, and they cut it down without informing us, giving us the excuse that it was dead. They used its wood to build a larger fence; we can't even see my neighbour's garden anymore.
