the only thing i will say is that your skin cannot absorb collagen, so consuming it can possibly help if you’re eating things like pigs feet or like chicken skin, but it’s still limited - youre better of using a retinoid(which help boost collagen production instead) and supplementing it with a healthy diet (which cannot and should include collagen filled foods)

I’ve been told to just eat more collagen to fix my genetic collagen related disorder. People actually think it stays collagen and doesn’t break down into amino acids and goes straight into the skin and tissue as that collagen.
