I grew up in Detroit and my home was on a 3 block stretch of homes that only Italian people lived…. No one ever talked of mob presence we knew better

Thats because detroit is where they went “legit”. The Detroit mob was about suits and ties, not guns and numbers. They were tied to the Jewish mob that is much less known. The Italians and Jews have worked together since the days of Rome. These powerful families lineage goes way WAY back! Theyre why we have paper money.👌🏼 Theyre not the street guys portrayed in movies. They painted people a picture they wanted them to see. Something likable and relatable.
