POV: You received your Etsy/Custom decal order from me and now it’s time to put your decal on your mirror, let’s walk through it together!! 1) Clean surface with soap and water or cleaning alcohol. Best to use microfiber towels to prevent scratching from paper towels. 2) Once aligned where you want, tape decal down the middle to the desired location on your sign. Tape should go past the top and past the bottom of the decal to hold it in place. Once aligned in desired placement, move to step 3. 3) Carefully peel back the transfer tape with the decal lettering on it from the paper backing from one side. The tape down the middle should stay in place securing the decal to the sign. Hold the transfer tape/decal lettering with one hand then use scissors to cut away the paper backing. 4) Once paper backing is safely removed, carefully place the transfer tape back down to the aligned position. For best results, squeegee this part of the decal down before moving to the next half. 5) Now that only one side of the decal is taped down to the sign, remove the tape from the middle of the decal and repeat step 3 & 4. You should have no paper backing remaining and be able to safely place the rest of the transfer tape/decal to your sign. At the end of this step, you should have the full decal placed down with only the transfer tape still on top of it. 6) Take your time with this step. Slowly peel off the transfer tape from the decal, starting at one corner, and pulling at an angled all the way to the other end. 7) Use soap/water or cleaning alcohol to remove any sticky residue left over from the transfer tape. **BE CAREFUL NOT TO GO OVER THE LETTERING, as this will weaken the adhesive and prevent the decal from sticking** 8) ENJOY YOUR FULLY ADHERED DECAL AND GET THE PARTY STARTED!!! 9) Repeat the above steps if you have multiple decals. #howtoapplydecal #vinyldecal #diybride #diyweddingmirror #weddingselfiemirror #diyweddingmirror #weddingdecor #weddingwelcomemirror
