last shift I had a machine "operator" fluff up something on an HMI that caused it to crash (die punch) and caused two line to stop dead in thier tracks aka. - damages exceeded [6.2mil$] - destroyed press - ruined product and - me enging up having to add a pass code to all 54 machines and getting new out for 3 hour str8 by not management but CORPORATE. was fun week at work Just to add some numbers to it - 2000 items / min on one line -two line are feeding in to a single washer - both line need both presses operating and - both line were down for 2 days... causing large scale production to go down... [(2000×60)×60]×39... thats 280 800 000 products lost and a lot of damages in destroy products on the line and materials all that is pointless I the comparison to the fact that material can be paid for time can't
