@Bhoward: This is for people who find themselves in blackout areas like truckers and people who fly a lot. It’s not for every day use it for emergencies and traveling and if you don’t use it, you lose it. The data that is.

I’ve been looking at the comments. He won’t answer the question so I will. This particular router needs an app to be loaded on your phone. You pay for data through the app.
