@RTSolo: If you check spx you can see it was a huge gap up to an important s&r zone. Spx almost always closes its gaps around 6:40am-7:00am pst. So once it gapped up it was only a matter of time for it to close it. Check the spx nq corelation it's actually pretty interesting
