My grandmother would ask me every day how my mom was and my mom had passed away and after a while I just started to pretend I was my mom and it was on the phone so my grandmom just thought she was talking to my mom and it made my grandmom happy so that’s all that mattered.

My mother cried everyday multiple times a day for the death of my father. And each day was more intense. She cried as if it just happened. She cried, screamed, hit herself, wanted to die for about 4 months and then all of a sudden ahe woke up one day and said that dad was at a church retreat. And we follow that story and she is calm. 🥺

My grandma lost her sister to Alzheimers & constantly said please god take me any way but that. & then She also died of Alzheimer’s & it was a torturous slow death. Life can be so un fair 😔

My dad started doing this. He’d realize my brother had died and come into the house in tears demanding to know why no one had told him. Somehow he’d forgotten and somehow he’d remembered and somehow decided we all knew but him.
