@laurenrelf_: £187 a week on maternity leave… how is ANY mum supposed to survive on that?! If you’re a mum trying to stretch £187 across bills, food, baby essentials and everything in between, I see you 🤍 Maternity pay is failing families, leaving so many of us stressed, overwhelmed and wondering how we’re expected to cope. £187 a week is less than half the UK minimum wage, yet we’re meant to manage it while caring for a tiny human too. It just doesn’t add up, and it leaves too many mums slipping into debt simply to get through maternity leave 💔 I’ve been there…counting every penny and watching my savings disappear. The idea of leaving my baby before I was emotionally ready broke me, but the financial reality made it feel like there was no other choice. That’s when I realised something had to change. I found a way to earn an income from my phone during nap times, selling digital products that were already created for me. And it genuinely changed everything for us. 🤎 In the last week two days I’ve earned what I was earning in a week on maternity pay 🤎 I have the freedom to work wherever I am, from my sofa or over a coffee at soft play 🤎 I haven’t rushed back to my 9-5 and am still enjoying every day with my baby 🤎 I finally am no longer stressing about money ✨ This is how mums are finding their way through a system that doesn’t support us. If you’re struggling right now, please know you’re not alone and there really is another way🤎 Grab my free guide on how I got started from my bio or comment or message me START and I’ll send you it directly 💌 Make sure you’re following me @laurenrelf_ so I can message you xx #maternityleave #mumsoftiktok #earnmoneyonline #maternitypay #newmumlife
