agree except for pancakes. as a Geordie in Canada, north American pancakes are gross. give me a good old English crepe style pancake with a sprinkle of sugar and squeeze of orange or some Lyles golden syrup ( treacle )

Disappointed with the bagels in NY, been 3 times and had one every morning trying to find a good one based on reviews. They were tasteless and greasy. So much better in the UK. Agree with the rest though 👍🏼
