Well yea, next time, go past Ramona if you’re going on hiking trails 😭 If you want mountainous scenery, Julian, Mt Laguna, and Anza Borrego have some incredible hiking locations. There’s much more to San Diego than what’s 20-40 minutes inland!

Look we do our hikes & then go to brunch. We know we don’t have super hard ones but hey where else are you gonna go for a hike that you’ll end up at the beach & then go get tacos?!!

Looking for trees in San Diego is just you not understanding the biome you’re in. San Diego is a mix of coastal sage scrub and chaparral, one of the most diverse biomes in the world but our trees are limited to water edges. Iron mtn is a fantastic hike in the spring after a rainy season, whole area turns green and flowers everywhere

I would do more hikes in North county that are definitely a lot harder than in city limits. Double Peak challenge is by far a favorite of many locals
