i think your wording couldve been much better "advocating against bears" they were advocating against gender-based violence, not the idea of the bear itself "an issue that does not exist" men do experience violence, just not of the disproportionate level that women do (working was a bit iffy here and i can see how the men can take that and say that youre invalidating male victims as well) The discussion isnt much that these campaigns exist (green for men), rather whenever a campaign starts to protest/advocate for a specific issue, people always try to broaden it to make it not "racist" or "sexist", but watering down the issue in of itself is those things. Men can have their green pfps, just not during a time when the major advocacy is for women. Its called hijacking, and like you said, splitting attention. Also can you talk about the Blue for God pfps and Yellow for Gambling, as well as the etceteras such as Red for whatever? I feel like this issue has gone beyond the Men (Green) vs Women (Purple) situation and has extended to a sort of mockery.
