Cuz I’m having a different experience.. since I’ve moved from California to here I’ve only got racist stairs from people they don’t smile at you they don’t say hello when you greet them … I’ve had people giving me the middle finger just for being a hijabi and existing :) I think it really depends on the area your in or the person you meet it doesn’t have to do with any state
