People can be horrible and not think before they say things. My best friend/abuser/ grandmother died 8 years ago and the most prominent feeling i have had is anger and guilt. People need to learn how to let people talk about themselves or just be in silence with people. “A blessing in disguise” is crazy…. That is not a friend.

I’m genuinely sorry for your loss. I don’t know if I would have your strength and your courage. Grief is part of healing and it may take longer than we wish or think we can endure. Lean on your beautiful memories that he and you made together. These were and will always remain precious and priceless. You were fortunate to know true love with him. So many of us crave real love and live our entire lives without really getting to experience true love. I wish you all the best and take as much time as you need. It may seem worse some days and some days will be more bearable. You are not alone. Part of him will always live within you and this is his final gift to you, the assurance that he remains with you forever. Feel and accept that warmth, his embrace and his presence in a different way. You are loved, brother. 🌹

I lost my husband 2 years ago Thanksgiving Day. I had a friend tell me you made it to the finish line. You promised till death and you kept your promise. 2 years later and I’m still trying to find my way again. So much of me was him. My condolences on your loss my friend. You are not alone. ❤

It’s still so fresh for you and hurts like hell. You will be content again it takes time. It’s hard to find pleasure in anything.right now. I found friends would glaze over when they saw me coming. They can only hear so much, which makes it harder still
