@paigethreedrag: This is my take on English Country Garden party, with many references I would love to explain. First being the Outfit inspo, this year marks 5 years since I was in Kinky Boots, the experience that changed my life as a queer person, and as a performer. I wanted to do a remake of my Finale “Raise You Up” costume from the show, in Union Jack fashion, paying homage to the show, and to my amazing ‘Angels” that I cherish as my first experience of sisterhood - but doing it my way. The next would be, Strawberries, and my Victoria Sponge bag, tying into my Mums special friendship group she has all the way from when she was at school, “The Strawberry Tarts”, strawberries as an image mean more to us than most. This I think, is my favourite runway I brought to the show. I with you could see the tailoring that has been done here up close by @joshuahansler, it’s perfect. I would have LOVED to wear this on the runway, but I will treasure this as a favourite part of my Drag Race experience, because personally, it’s very special.
