5 seconds is not gonna hurt anything. there is still oil on all the bearing even when you drain it. it would take closer to 30 second before that remaining oil burns off. if it takes longer than 10 seconds that when you begin to worry

We going to talk about how he filled it wrong and put oil on the gasket when filling a filter oil or fuel it goes threw the small holes to get filter not just fill the filter because than you have unfiltered fluid in your engine

yes, put unfiltered oil in it. Or, you can lube the seal, and wait the 5 seconds. slow is smooth, smooth is fast.

How do you prefill horizontal oil filters then? It's not needed, oil doesn't flow through the filter until it reaches 1.5-2 bar which is the pressure most filter valves are set to

Now let’s talk boats. Many I/Os and outboards the filter is threads downs or at an angle. Most I/Os are GM blocks. So priming isn’t really possible.
