"no more random git commands" is pretty bad advice imo. one thing i tell my juniors is to learn git's cli before getting used to ui tools or lazyGit. sure they might be slightly faster, but first you need to understand the concepts

Lazyvim is just neovim but you can barely customise it and it's bloated by a bunch of plugins you never use. Just use vscode with vim motions at that point.

hot take but if you think lazyvim "fixes" nvim then it isn't for you. you should only use nvim if you take the time to learn lua and configure it yourself, otherwise you will have trouble being productive if anything breaks

i mean, since i mostly used windows i got used to vscode and i need that scratch from the ui, i got zed instead w vim keybinds, really switching to arch w hyprland made me prefer keyboard way more nowadays so MIGHT look into neovim at some point, not sure how that will go but I'll probably reply here in like a month or a couple
