@sacramentourbanmedia916: U.S. President Donald #Trump and Vice President #JDVance were noticeably absent from Thursday’s funeral for former Vice President #DickCheney — not by accident, but because they weren’t invited, a White House official confirmed. The service at Washington’s National Cathedral drew a heavyweight roster of former presidents, top lawmakers, and dignitaries paying tribute to one of the most influential and controversial figures in modern American politics. Cheney, a fierce critic of Trump, was remembered by leaders across the political spectrum. In attendance were former Presidents Joe Biden and George W. Bush, along with former Vice Presidents Kamala Harris and Mike Pence, who served under Trump during his first term. Cheney — the former Wyoming congressman and defense secretary widely known as the architect of the 2003 Iraq invasion — died on November 3 at age 84.#viral #fyp
