Another great one are the Mosier Twin Tunnels. Start at Hatfield State Park on the East side of Hood River and walk there. It is 5 miles but the views are breathtaking.

One of the most beautiful weekends I spent at the Columbia River Gorge Hotel in Hood River. I don’t think I’ve been anywhere as beautiful to this day. PNW is magical

The exit is only one the eastbound side of 84 so if you’re coming from the east, you’ll have to pass it, turn around and come back. I always stop on my way back home from Portland if it isn’t dark. Love it.
