How could he possibly be innocent. It’s a fact that he threw his wife’s phone out the window, it’s a fact that he was there 3-4 minutes before the shooting, it’s a fact that he changed his clothes in a 3 hour window before and after the murderers, it’s a fact that the family owned the exact guns used, it’s a fact that Paul’s case and a divorce would have ruined him financially and started investigations into his finances which is a motive. If you watched any of the trial of have any skill at reading people it’s so obvious he did it

If Alex didn’t actually shoot them he knows who did. He was there. His voice was on the phone. He lied about not being there. So if he didn’t he still is guilty for not saying who did.
