I had a temp switch in a motor that was some how being induced inside the motor causing an external power source to be introduced to the control circuit blowing the fuse and making the hoa useless cuz the power coming from the temp switch in the motor was holding in the contactor

You need a hi-pot. Put it on the winding and that sensor. That will put out enough potential to find the fault safely. Start at 500v and work up to 2500v. If the light on the tester goes out, fault found.

Damn temp sensors. We had an old Staefa ahu running the preheat valves on a phase cut. Somehow they were messing with our avg sensors and burned quite a few fire damper links before we figured it out 😅
