Get off of Condado. There are a billion better beaches in Puerto Rico. Playa Vacia Talega is 10000X better. It’s only a 15 min drive. Playa Puerto Novo is also a great beach. Just 45 mins west. There’s so much amazing stuff outside of San Juan. If you’ve never rented a car and gone to the west side it’s worth it. Fajardo also has amazing beaches on the SE corner. The south side of the island isn’t great for beaches, but cities like Ponce need mainlanders to come and spend tourism dollars to boost the local economy respectfully. This is the Túnel de Guajataca west of Arecibo near Aguadilla. This is the view from the road, just FYI.
