honestly I feel that it's better to buy decor when they are on special and store them. I'd rather buy at a reduced price and know that I have it on hand. rather than finish the renovation and pay full price for my home decor

Girl, I’ve been renovating for nearly a year, still haven’t moved in, still need to order the bathroom tiles and the bathroom itself… just spent £170 on a Christmas arch from b&q!! 😂😂 we’re allowed to treat and furnish our home!

Idk what they were on about honestly, you have to feel comfortable and at-home in your house even if it’s unfinished. That’s your space to live in, relax in. It has to be functional and feel like yours and skirting boards don’t achieve that🤷♀️sometimes feeling happy is more of a priority than finishing something quickly and I think people in your comments don’t get that? 🥲
