they are kinda right because it's a Turkish country and their only official language is Turkish. they don't want their language to get ruined and the country will turn into Kurds instead of Turks. and they ban them from speaking Kurdish so they learn Turkish because they're under Turkiyes control. if they want to study in Kurdish they can go to the Kurdistan region in Iraq there are a lot of Kurdish schools there.
