80k opening bid plus your 115k rehab is 195k on a 275k arv. after realtor fees and closing fees thats 50-60k profit, on a 3 month max rehab. ill take those any day.

If it an auction then it doesn't matter the start offer starting at 10k they by law have to start from there. I do it all the time

This is to prevent "Penny Auctions" during The Great Depression Farmers bid one penny and gave the property back to the farmer. Other bidders were threatened with violence to prevent them from budding higher.
