100%, I have seen so many *bad* accidents on the slopes, and it is always beginners who think lessons are optional, crashing into people and taking everybody down with them. I know skiing lessons are expensive, but so are driving lessons or anything else that puts people’s lives in danger. Nobody should be able to go down a mountain at 45km/h without a certain number of skiing lessons under their belt. So dangerous!

When I was like 6 accidentally got my skis crossed on a button lift fell backwards off the side into cpl ft of powder and my ski school group left me

I’m a full beginner, went twice last year at 24 and I fully agree! Although I did quite well, I think everyone should do lessons and then get a licence

I swear I’d prefer to have L plates because I know I’m no good but people still ski like twats around me and I am not good enough to save things if they put me off 😩

Love Skiing so much… and yes, there’s people that think they’re the best thing on the slopes when they’re not! And it’s normally those who think they’re super good

Honestly yes!! When a grown man skied directly in to my brother when he was about 7!!!!! Baring in mind my brother had skied from 3 years old and was a better skier than this man that could’ve killed him
