It’s important not to fall for it when you have 100% natural fabrics within the sweater (or a great percentage of natural fibers). Fibers such as wool are obtained from animals, and those are built out of proteins. And proteins (in various pH and temperature) denature. Denaturation is an irreversible process which alters the bonds within the proteins structures. The solution presented in the video might work, but would be unachievable for natural fibers, and for synthetic on the contrary. It will most definitely work for synthetic materials because of the material it’s made of. Majority of synthetic materials tend to be prone to become very ductile when heated. Hence, it will work on synthetics but don’t bother trying for natural.
