I've had a migraine for over 10 years now. I suspect intracranial hypertension, but can't get a doctor to take it seriously. Are there any other good things that I can do to help myself with this, since I don't seem to be able to get medical help?

PLEASE if you take plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) don't use these - you're at higher risk for retinal injury if you have copper deposits in the retina from plaquenil. It's not common but it is possible. 🤗

The pain is coming from your eye muscles. The issue is called BVD and it’s missed by most of the eye doctors. My whole account is dedicated to raising awareness of this issue!

Very glad I watched this, have been thinking of getting one of these, but my most recent eye exam revealed I have a significant retinal tear…I would have 100% used this and unintentionally risked retinal detachment 😳

For those wondering, "high" glasses prescription goes both ways: + for far sighted and - for near sighted. I have a -8.50 prescription in both eyes which puts me at a higher risk of retinal detachment. High + prescription is higher risk for something like narrow-angle glaucoma. So don't get these if you have anything greater than a +/- 1.50-2.00.

ah i have iih my doctor has said nothing can really be done i was put on medication last year that worked for a few months and the side effects so bad i had to come off it and losing a lot of weight has helped i have to try and lose a bit more weight and maintain weight i still have slight pressure in the back of both eyes but no where near as dangerous as it was when i was put on meds last year after ot being left for 2 and a bit years because the hospital where i lived before coming back to London were useless

Mine kinda helps, but when I have a really bad migraine, I can't even wear my hair or brush it a certain way. So even wearing a headband or the massager makes it worse.

Wait, but if they aren't putting pressure on the eyes, what's wrong with them? I have one, bought it... years ago, but all it does is put some warmth and pressure around the eyes, not ON them?
