Grew up in Vermont - in the mountains. FWD with the weight over the wheels maintains grip so much better than RWD. No question. AWD best.

FWD is better than RWD in snow. The weight distribution of the car being in the front because of the engine and possible passenger helps with traction and control.

I'm going to say this as a truck driver, be easy on your gas & brakes, keep your distance, & follow the tire tracks from other vehicles if they're fresh before it turns into ice.

ummmmmm no just no. tires i can get behind what kind of drive you have dosnt really matter at the end of the day, what car wash as you going to cause they are all closed by me already and will only be open if it gets above 40 if you dont have your car in a heated garage your good untill it warms up(when the washes open) you go get a wash then your good, the add on is nice if you have the extra $ but not needed, kicking the snow off is the best part of winter if your spinning your hitting your gas to hard

You're full of it!! Front wheel drive Is superior in snow ❄️and ice 🧊 conditions....You need Tires that are for the season. All weather tires are much better than all seasonal.

Another thing you can do is just drive slower in the snow if you have a FWD car.

Nah, just live in a state where you can use the same tires all the time, don't have to de-ice or scrape the windshield and doors and the car doesn't crap out because of rust.

Fwd does perfectly fine in the snow as long as you have decent tires

my opinion, rwd is the way to go for winter driving, more fun/stylish when sliding thru an intersection

I disagree with rear wheel being better than front wheel in snow. having the weight of the engine above the drive wheel gives u way more control and traction.
