I think 1 or 4!! 1 is perfect & you could decorate it cute. 4 is the most practical use, even tho left aligned I feel you would use it more so functionality over aesthetic vibes.

Option 1, but you should also search for a different more shoe friendly cabinet for your front door. Put it to the left of the front door when you walk in, but before you do that, ask your building to switch how the door attaches to your hall closet to swing the other way.

Hear me out….. hallway entryway off center to the left of your front door (catch all entry table with a lamp and key tray) and another olive tree (or fiddle fig) beside it to “center” the visual but not impeded your coat closet door…. ❤
