What should I have done? I didn’t know Honda had cvt got it with 42k miles and I currently have 96k and do my oil changes regularly

I would stop asking Bailey things because he's not giving correct info. Ask the older guys more of the questions since they know more and give detailed answers of why. The older guys are gonna give more accurate answers.

It really comes down to not properly getting your car maintenance and serviced as long as you take care of it your transmission will not go out

Like Honda but not CVT just imagine VTEC just kick in n the pulley of the CVT transmission that you have in your Honda it slips out in you’re done

actually is not the problem of the CVT gearbox, is how we handle it, if we are not able to maintain and follow the service schedule and how we operate it, none of the gearbox can survive!!! dont blame the gearbox, should blame the human bad habits!!!
